There is no astrology without an astrology birth chart. It is an intrinsic essence or the soul of making forecasts and predictions. Even countries have an astrology chart, based on which, certain calamities or successes are foretold. Every system of astrology universally has an astrology birth chart. Its construction and applications differ. But they are based on mathematical calculations. The objective of the astrology chart is universal across different cultures. Its uses are for predictions and forecasts.

An astrology birth chart gives information about the birth details like time and date of birth, place of birth, the position of the stars, planets, sun and the moon at the time of your birth, and the ascending or rising star and the sun sign and moon sign.

In the Indian system of astrology or free Vedic astrology the astrology birth chart is known as ‘janam kundalis’ .In this position of the stars, planets and sun, and moon are made into a diagram. In this the predictions are based on your ‘ janma rashi, and lagna’. ‘Janma rashi’ refers to the constellation in which the moon was positioned at the time of your birth. Moon signifies the mind.’Lagna’ means your rising or ascending sign. Most Indian astrology sites offer free jyotish astrology readings.
